Once you've landed in Milan, you have two primary options to reach Lake Iseo: by car or by train.

Option 1: Driving

  • Car Rental: Rent a car at any of the Milan airports. All major car rental companies operate from these airports.

  • Route:

    • From Milan Malpensa Airport: Take the A8/E62 highway towards Milan, then switch to the A4/E64 towards Bergamo/Brescia, and follow the signs for Lake Iseo (Lago d'Iseo).

    • From Milan Linate Airport: Take the A51 highway to the A4/E64 towards Bergamo/Brescia, and follow the signs for Lake Iseo.

    • From Milan Bergamo Airport: The drive is shorter and straightforward. Take the SS671 highway to the A4/E64 towards Brescia, and follow the signs for Lake Iseo.

    • Estimated Drive Time: Approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic.

Option 2: Train

  • From Milan to Brescia:

    • Milan Centrale Railway Station: Take a train from Milan Centrale to Brescia. Trains run frequently, and the journey takes about 1 hour.

  • From Brescia to Sulzano:

    • Train to Iseo: From Brescia, take a local train to the town of Sulzano. The journey takes about 30 minutes.

  • From Sulzano to Castello Oldofredi Residence:

    • Ferry: From the Sulzano train station, take a ferry to Castello Oldofredi Residence. The ride should take about 15-20 minutes.
